The time has clearly come when those who make decisions need to be made accountable for their decisions.
The collective failure of We the People to get involved in making our concerns known to our politicians have nearly made the concerns of the great majority of the citizens of this nation all but irrelevant to the politicians. The only 'ire' here should be directed to the 3 Southeast Councilmen who didn't want to attend this meeting.
I implore you to get involved!
The lives you save may be yours or someone important to you!
We live in a perilous world and in a perilous era. The survival of our nation and the lives of our citizens hang in the balance.
This is neither a Conservative issue, nor is it a Liberal issue- simply stated, this is most certainly an AMERICAN issue!
You are either part of the solution or you are a part of the problem!

Is the insurance issue that Councilmen Johnson, Gross and Honeck now bring up the real reason for this meeting being cancelled or will we see the issue of overcrowding being thier next complaint when town hall overflows with their constituents voicing thier concerns over illegal immigration and crimes being committed by illegals?
Government at all levels must make the prosecution and deportation of law-breaking illegal aliens a top priority. Furthermore, local governments must end their criminal-protecting directives that have turned Brewster into a sanctuary village. Such public policy insanity is directly responsible for terrible crimes to innocents as well as making the jobs of police far more difficult. It's time for every American to exhibit some righteous contempt of our own--, contempt for those who commit violence and for those politicians who support these sanctuary policies and hide behind 'insurance requirements'.
