Reflections on a murder-suicide

There may have been a motive behind the Peekskill murder-suicide last weekend. It turns out the brother of the suspected killer, Joel Garcia Diaz, was dating Kristin Kudelka, according to her father. Ernesto Diaz-Garcia would not confirm the relationship, only saying they were good friends.

Yesterday, while at Joel’s funeral in Poughkeepsie, I saw a family in profound grief, trying to understand why he, a loving brother they described as an otherwise happy and friendly man, would resort to such violence. They prayed for hours and howled inÂ mourning. I’m sure there will be the same level of pain at Kudelka’s wake tonight.

In today’s story, the readers forum is filled with mostly concern for the family’s immigration status and how they should all be sent back to Mexico along with Joel’s body.

Having seen what I saw yesterday, tears and sorrow are the same no matter where a person comes from or whether or not they are legal in this country.

This is to just let everyone know the the grieving family namely the Diaz/Garcias family, did not even call to say they were sorry for this hideous act that was put on my family by this piece of garbage. They should all be sent back to where they came.I should fell sorry for them! They are illegal and broke the law coming here period. His illegal entry into this country allowed this animal to shoot my beautiful daughter in the head while she slept. The coward took his own life! He took the cowards way out like he took the cowards way in. I hope he rots in pain through eternity. Even that is to good for this animal.

Even his brother is a liar a controlling coniving liar who was out to save his own ass, a coward piece of Mexican shit. Remember Ernesto that you were a reason to this as was your whore sister, who knew that that Joel wanted to commit suicide because of his useless state in life. I hope that you are in torment for the rest of your days as is your whore sister for not saying something about this.
May you and your family live in shame and fear for they bore a murderer, who took from this earth a beautiful women
